Hey guys. I was thinking about how dead this community has become. Hardly any posts or social activities like forums games going on. I want to liven things up and start a get-together.

I kept thinking about different social activities we could do and I remembered that a while back Jatte used to host these Minecraft servers.

Now personally I don't like vanilla Minecraft. I prefer mod packs and that cool jazz. The mod pack we'd be using is called BusinessElite. It uses the Technic launcher.

Now BusinessElite isn't a default mod pack in the Technic launcher. You have to go to the launcher main menu. Click ''Get more mod packs'' (Or something like that, should be on the right), next find BusinessElite, and copy the PLATFORM URL. Next go back to the launcher and on the left there should be a button saying ''Add mod pack'' (It's with the other mod packs). Next just pasta the URL into the prompted text box. And... Whamo! You've installed it! :)

Anyways...
I used to be able to host servers. I still can. BUT.
I moved out of my old house which had the really nice bandwidth capabilities. Lately when I host private servers, my friends claim to be lagging(?) Not a ton, but more than they're used to.

So I don't think it would be a good idea for me to host.
If any of you know a place that can host a nice dedicated server for us. Please do tell it.

I am willing to help pay for a dedicated server, and I hope you'd be too.

So that was just food for thought, maybe you guys can give feedback on this and tell me what you think?

I do not like Minecraft, with mods or not. But I am willing to try out this BusinessElite thing if it does happen. Seems interesting and at the very least it'll pass some time.

Technically it was the chunk loader and the sillyness of the FTB team pushing out their update when it clearly wasnt ready.

My utter stupidity was simply the catalyst :3
