Ya know, I was looking around at the forum, because I was bored, and poking fun in places. Anyway, it got me thinking, how do the forum ranks(or ranks that appear in the forum but nowhere else, not sure what to call them), work?

I mean, I know of 3 off the top of my head, Newborn, Archon, and Deity, which is followed by the person's position, ie: Player, Investor, Developer(Lead Developer), so forth.

Anyway, how do they go up/are calculated? Is it based on time spent, or number of posts made, or some other magical otherworldly device we know nothing of?

The current ranks are based on time since account creation.
The current ranks are going away, to be replaced with an unlockable title system sometime in the future.

I propose the new title system consist of the following:

When two people get into a fight the crowd will throw random on hand items to the two. Which ever item is caught first will be your weapon. Hilarity ensues. The victor then bestows the loser with his/her new title.
