Will guns in the game be like turrets where they are able to move around freely, or will they be fixed in a certain position so it will be broadside attacks. Or maybe both. All of these possibilities seem sexy! ^_^

... For some strange reason I never pictured guns in the game... I mean, thinking on it, I wonder how they couldn't be, but before I couldn't put them together.

Yes, ships have guns and gun turrets

Turrets will be fixed position for now, at some point in the future they will turn to face targets etc, but it's a minor cosmetic detail and not a focus. It does look awesome though and definitely something I will add, sometime.
