no one home?

Hey, I played this game back before 2.x, and want to come back in. I installed the test server client, but when I log in it says that 0 people are there, and I cannot interact with anything.

Is this normal / part of testing? I just want to build me some planetary systems :)

The game is in development, an answer you would've gotten if you waited 10 more secs in IRC.

In-game chat connection sometimes loses connection with the IRC server, and it won't notify the user if it happens. I normally fixed this by typing into to the chat and it would normally re-connect me. Don't know if it still works.
